Organising the most important event of your life can be stressful and exciting, so its even more important to get your wedding hairstyle and make-up look right. After all, you will have to look at your wedding photos for the rest of your life! Your usual hair and make-up routine will not be able to withstand the rigours of your wedding day all that food, champagne, kissing and crying. Every bride wants to look like herself, but just more special and gorgeous as all eyes will be on you! Whether the look you want to achieve is either a fairytale, old Hollywood glamour, vintage chic, princess for a day, red carpet, Audrey Hepburn / retro, Grecian inspired bridal hairstyle or make-up, Donna has the creative vision and skill to produce a wide range of looks tailored to suit you!
You may be finding it difficult to choose who to help you with your bridal hair and make-up on your wedding day, after all it is your day and you will be the centre of attention. We specialise in weddings as this is our niche, you can feel confident that we understand the needs of a bride and with our experience know what to expect on the big day along with planning the bridal party hairstyling and make-up schedule. We create every brides wedding day make-up and hair like it was our own. We are a friendly, approachable and unphased team and heres how we can help ...
The first step is a trial and consultation bit like a dress fitting! This is highly recommended for brides and also advised for your bridal party (although not compulsory).
- Analysis of your colour scheme, wedding dress and accessories and identify what will suit your skin tone and hair type in line with the look you want to achieve.
- Design of wedding day make-up look and hairstyle to best suit you and in keeping with the style of your special day.
- Produce the look for you, so you can see exactly what you will look like on the day and make any adjustments and adapt the style.
- Detailed notes and hair and make-up maps will be taken, along with photographs to ensure accuracy in reproducing the look on your big day.
- You also receive a mini facial at the trial (as with your wedding day), which prepares the skin and helps the make-up last longer, looks more natural and ensures an even better polished finish. A bit like decorating a room, if you prep the walls well you get a better finish!
- Expert advice on how to optimise the condition of your hair and skin leading up to the wedding, which includes a tailored skin / hair care routine and product recommendation. Also advice on beauty treatments is provided upon request.
- On your wedding day the agreed look is produced, this time you can just sit back and relax as we make you look and feel beautiful...and take all the hassle away!
- We advise to book in your trial at least 2-4 months in advance of the wedding, this allows sufficient time for any changes to be made to hair or skincare routine and ordering of any additional items. In some cases this is not always possible, and late trials can be accommodated. Likewise, if you wish to have an earlier trial then that is fine, but be mindful that your skin and hair condition changes from season to season.

Booking
To check availability and for further details please send a request via the 'contact' page. To reserve our services for your bridal make-up and / or hairstyling we require a non-refundable booking fee of £50 is required (deducted from any balances owing). Wedding day hair and make-up appointments cannot be reserved without a deposit.
